Hey all!

I was wondering if any of you had simulated pregnancy before. I find myself sometimes using balloons to get the shape however I don't get the weight or any simulated kicking. Do you all find yourself simulating pregnancy as well? What works for you?

Me too. I fantasize about getting pregnant, being pregnant, labor, and just about everything else. Since I was 12 or 13...

Anyone else like to simulate?

Yes, I’ve simulated pregnancy in the past but very rarely at home as there isn’t enough ‘personal’ time (i.e - not getting caught) in order to do it properly. From my own experience the only place where there has been enough of this has been in hotel rooms...

In the past I’ve read methods that members of Expansion Mansion have done and some went to quite some considerable and admirable lengths in terms of props and materials used. Special ‘blow-up’ suits e.t.c... Personally, I don’t have access to all that much and I’d be concerned of popping balloons! Also on a personal note, the lack of weight simulation side of things doesn’t bother me.

For me, I’ve been happy with simple methods simply as pushing out my belly as far as I comfortably could. Usually after a good meal. I do have a couple of older T-Shirts which are slightly too small/tight to be comfortable now. They’re not only good for showing a simulated ‘bump’ though and can be ‘rucked up’ around the chest revealing a couple of inches of bare belly...

Another quick and simple favourite is rolling up and manipulating soft pillows and stuffing them under a large shirt e.t.c. May not give you the perfect bump but simple.

One method that I started experimenting with was creating a ‘popped out’ belly button. Personally, I’m not hugely fond of them and prefer them to remain ‘innies’ or simply stretched which isn’t as common. What I done, to some limited success, was tearing a small piece of toilet roll. Roll it up, wet it lightly and push it into your belly button. This has to be done quite firmly and precisely. Let it dry for as long as you can and then carefully remove. If you’re lucky enough you will have created a near-perfect model of your belly button inverted...! Getting it to stick and push through the underside of an already stretched shirt is tricky though - something I’m still working on. At the moment the ‘inverted navel’ tends to become quite easily damaged, falls out or hasn’t dried enough to keep it’s shape for too long...

I would also be interested in hearing from anyone who have also done pregnancy simulation with (very) limited means. Utilising objects already available that you don’t have to necessarily buy for just that purpose.

I do have a ‘pregnancy fantasy’ which I’ve been considering writing a short(ish) story about for the past four or five years. The main problem I have is a lack of free personal time. I did actually start typing small chunks down onto my old computer - which then decided to ‘expire’ with little warning and typically as I hadn’t backed it up - I lost the lot. I just never got round to doing again...

I have had some pretty good success simulating pregnancy using balloons. I too, like having the weight because it makes it so much more realistic. To accomplish this, I filled the balloons with water, usually weighing about 20-25 lbs. As for it bursting, I use punch ball balloons which can be found at stores like Walgreens and only cost 50 cents. They are bigger and much thicker than normal balloons to the point where sitting on them won't make them burst.

I'd be happy to talk with anyone that is also interested in this, to share any experiences or provide any more details that might help out.

I don't simulate myself, but there's something about it that's really interesting to me. I think part of it might be that roleplaying aspect. I'd love to hear about some of your experiences, would you mind sharing how much you get into the role when you simulate or some of the things you do to get into it?

Out of curiosity, of those that have simulated pregnancy, are any of you male? As a guy, I am fascinated and obsessed with pregnant women to the extent that I can't understand how anyone would NOT be attracted to it frankly, BUT the thought of pregnancy simulation has never crossed my mind. Although from time to time I do have to wonder what it would feel like for a woman.

Ya, I'm a guy. In fact I am simulating right now haha. For me its really just this intense curiosity to experience what its like. It has to be so different given the boobs and not to mention the growing belly. And on top of all of that I have a strong desire to know first hand what the babies movements feel like.

I find it the cutest thing ever when fellow girls pretend.
