I've been around this site for years, partaking in the enjoyable content provided by its many users (a gracious thank you to you all, by the way), but I never took a moment to contribute...well, I did years ago, but I felt it's time to step back out from the shadows and talk a bit about my times with pregnant women in the workplace.

I've been at my current retail job for nearly six years, and in that time, I have seen my share of women who either came into the job already expecting or who got pregnant during their time here. I've had no less than four of those women quit/moved on from the job before giving birth or go on maternity leave. On top of that, one of my current co-workers is due next month with twins. Another one is 18 and unless I heard wrong, she has a daughter, which caught me off guard; it's not often I get to work with a teenage mother.

All of that aside, I know to keep my particular interests under control when at work: I'm not looking to get fired, or even worse, brought up on charges. I'm thankful to have such reliable and respectable colleagues, whether or not they are expecting.

I might be running long on this, so I'll wrap it up. What kind of experiences do you have working with pregnant women? Any moments or comments to share? Funny, crazy, sexy (hey, it could happen), it doesn't matter: the doors are wide open.

I work for my town's grocery store for almost a year now and while I see pregnant customers and regulars on an almost daily basis (Notably one who was so huge with twins, that she had to use the mart cart to get around) So far I've only had one co-worker who was pregnant.

And to be honest, at first I thought she was just chubby since she's a pretty hefty gal, but around my second month there, I overheard her mention how she about 5 months. And from late July- she went on maternity leave mid October she gradually grew to the point where she had to wear her shirt untucked due to it being too small for her. And since she was the customer lead, she would be constantly bending over and having her belly exposed for a good 5-10 seconds. But other than that, it's pretty much have been mostly pregnant customers.

Not a bad experience, I'd say. It's always interesting to see how pregnancy affects a woman's ability at work. Of course, working women are working women, no matter what life form (or how many) they have growing inside of them, and in some cases, taking a break or going on maternity leave might not be an option.

The co-worker I mentioned earlier (the twinner) was apparently instructed by her doctor to go on bedrest for the duration, but she has declined and still works a couple of days each week. I can totally understand: working women, like I said...

Preggo's at work -

Currently I have a woman who is pregnant @ work and, as much as I was hoping for a great experience watching her grow... it has been anything BUT a positive experience! Sigh...
She's growing nicely too, is about 8 months pregnant now but she has absolutely the worst attitude about her pregnancy that you can imagine!! She has said many, many, MANY times that she doesn't enjoy pregnancy AT ALL! She has had one kid so far prior to coming to my facility.
She's kinda rounding out everywhere but her pregnant breasts are already tremendous!! It's gonna be great when her milk comes in but... overall, a big disappointment.

My first real encounter with a pregnant friend at work was during my military days about 25 yrs ago. In my job, its very common to grow closer when training together. Her husband turned out to be a real ass and very uncooperative and unhelpful during her pregnancy... always commenting in the negative which lead to many, many days crying on my shoulders. Regretfully we were never intimate but one moment in time with her will stick with me forever!
She'd asked me over after work one day and we were going to hang out till her husband came home cuz she was nearing birth at about 38+ weeks pregnant and didn't like to be alone much. We both went to our respectively homes to shower and get ready. I remember getting ready much faster than her and, upon arrival found the door to her apartment unlocked (which was normal cuz she knew I was coming over) and her stereo blasting VERY loudly.
I called out to her but was definitely drowned out by the music so I simply sat down on her couch and waited.
I heard that she was in the shower but was far to shy/introverted to attempt anything...
After about 10 minutes of waiting she comes out of the shower dripping wet, walks from the bathroom to the kitchen to retrieve something and returns!
Huge, pink and HIGHLY naked and pregnant!! It was and remains the most amazing moment thing I'd ever seen! And she never noticed me!
Well, being a gentlemen (and stupid), I leave shortly afterwards and return later still with that memory etched in my mind.

We stayed friends for many, many years and somehow that day came up in conversation... she'd long divorced her husband yet we remained friends.She asked me what happened that day and why I was so late getting over... I tried to avoid the question but she was insistent on an answer and I'm a terrible liar.
"You know Renee (not her real name), everyone now and then I'll forget something while in the shower too."

She turned beet red....
I told her that she was the most beautiful naked pregnant woman I'd ever seen!!
Well how many naked pregnant women have you seen total? She asked.
"Just one!" I answered.

Thought I'd throw my experiences in here!

I have a career that requires close training with a highly skilled professional. I have gone through two of these trainings that last about four months each. You work closely one-on-one every single day. And guess what! Both women were pregnant. Both were disappointing, however, because they wore drape clothing and never got very big. But it was still pretty awesome to work alongside them each day. I also used to work at a front desk and the sexy blonde who worked next to me had a freaking beachball belly and the work uniform shirt buttons would be strained. It was so hot to stand next to that all day long. Let's see... I worked at another front desk with a butterface who had a torpedo belly and wore tight clothing over it right up to full-term. I've been fortunate to be in close proximity to a lot of preggos at work. And I almost forgot - my most recent job included a woman about 20 weeks who would stop by my area and chat. I finally asked her something like, "I bet you guys are excited!" and when she replied "Oh, it's just me, going at this alone," I knew I had my chance. Later in the conversation I asked her out and we went hiking on one date, dancing on another date, but that was it.
