Now that Avatar 2 the way of water is out on Disney+ now we can finally rewatch all the preggo scenes!

Wow, her belly looks weird

My interpretation of it is that their different physiology results in the different belly shape. Their torsos are longer and narrower, so it might play a role in why it looks so low and comparatively small. Additionally, one of the creative team members said that Na'vi aren't placental, though they didn't give any more information, so that fact probably also changes the belly shape and position. At the same time, her belly does look fuller and shaped better in her final scene (the one where she's seen over the shoulder of her husband), so maybe the belly growth progresses differently in their species, or maybe it's just related to how pregnant she is as time passes.

Okay, I didn't think I would ever spare this much time thinking about a fictional species' reproduction.

I thought xenos laid blue eggs.

The whole idea about the Na'vi is weird. A bunch of ugly ass blue space elf xeno scum which connects their brain to a planet sized hive mind with a low level IQ based of some terrible mix of sterotypes of what the hollywood bourgeoisie thinks about amazonian tribes and some of their stupid new age cult of gaia spirituality.

I think I'm one of the few who actually remembered the plot of the first movie. Most people just forgot about that overhyped money dump.

If James Cameron believed in his ideas he would just quit that billionaire hollywood director life and just live in the woods in a hut like Ted Kaczynski. But no, he enjoys luxuries less than 0.01% of the global population has and still thinks he could judge humanity as a whole for their greed and consumerism.

I genuinely liked both movies.

Yeah I've always thought about James Cameron. Another woke holier than thou rich celebrity judging and looking down on the rest of us while benefiting from the things he looks down on us for participating in.
