This has been one of my favorite pregnancy tropes for a long time

I'm VERY fond of pop/burst talk (and the more roleplay-y, the better!) but sometimes you get baited and are actually just using it to mean "give birth" (this is almost always with "pop," often with the past-tense "she popped!"), and the actual idea of bursting was never even present. Some authors do this, too, and it bugs me.
