I recently watched America Dad starting from season 1. Currently I’m at season 7. What I’ve noticed about this series is it has quite a bit of pregnancy related content including but not limited to establishing that Stan and Francine’s son Steve is a preggophile. Between season 1 and 7 there’s been a few childbirths and even a plot carried out by Stan and Francine to tamper with a young couple’s birth control products resulting in the husband unintentionally getting his wife pregnant.

Last night I watched an episode in which the high school superintendent who is a white female, gets pregnant by a black prison inmate in order to use the mixed race baby as political leverage for a promotion to controller. At the end of the episode a montage shows her with a pregnant belly and giving birth.

I’m sure I’ll see more pregnancy stuff as I continue with season 7 and beyond.

Lastly, has anyone seen the “First Omen” I heard there is an impregnation in the story which leads to a graphic birth scene.

However, in 3 seasons of the Orville, the only pregnancy and birth (excluding the whole plot around Bortus, Topa and the other moclans) was a secondary character appearing in only one episode, and the other time a character have a child during the show, the whole pregnancy isn't at all mentioned before we meet the child a long time after the birth.

Seth has very little to do with those shows at that point and the content was probably written by someone else or the team in general on his stuff.

If you watch women giving birth on their own or animals giving birth, you would see that the baby just comes out naturally on it's own, there is no need for them to be hurrying the pushing. In western culture birth is thought of as a dangerous emergency and not a natural event. That's why they hurry her, there is no danger to the baby unless there is some sort of complication.
