I've searched high and low, but I have been unable to rediscover the below story. It's been so long since I've read it that I might be seriously misremembering it, but if it strikes a cord with anybody, I would appreciate any info you might have on it.

So, my memory is that it's a furry story where the main character (maybe an otter?) is staying with her father (or uncle?) who is a scientist who created a procedure where women have packets of cells injected into their wombs to simulate a pregnancy (I think it takes several to simulate an actual pregnancy). The cells grow over time, but there is no child. This allows women to maintain a pregnant look, which has apparently become quite popular. Anyway, the main character decides to initiate the procedure on herself (possibly because she wanted larger breasts to compete with somebody else?) while her father is away. Her father returns mid-procedure as the machine is quietly depositing these cell packets into her womb. She has to get him to leave before it fills her with too many, and the story ends with her fearfully thinking about how large she is going to be based on how many it injected into her before she was able to shut the machine off.

Anyway, if that sounds familiar, please let me know! Also, any story that involves a simulation of pregnancy through an implanted device would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
