(July 24, 2022, 12:21 am)PenniesandNickels Does Octomom count or nay?
Nay. In vitro and not all survived. There were twelve implanted.
Twelve?! O _ O

I knew there were supposed to be more, and that some hadn't survived, but the last I heard was there were originally supposed to be ten.

I know I posted about this in another thread already, but I saw a news article years ago where some girl gave birth to more than eight, beating octomom's record, and survived. It had to be implants; I would be incredibly shocked if it was conceived naturally. It's entirely possibly I'm misremembering this, but all I remember is seeing the article and wondering how it wasn't making bigger headlines, and wondering how she'd survived it. What I can say is this happened sometime between 2014 and 2018-, I may even be bold enough to narrow it down further to some time between 2014 and 2016. This definitely didn't happen in North America.
May 6, 2021 Link to the news article: www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/ne… A 25-year-old woman from Mali gave preterm birth to nine babies this week, which was two more than doctors had detected on ultrasounds while she was pregnant, according to the BBC. Halima Cissé gave birth to the nonuplets -- five girls and four boys -- in Casablanca, Morocco. The Mali government flew her to Morocco for specialist care.

Nine of Glass
"most babies" =/= "largest pregnancy"

Irrelevant, but in terms of belly size, I think having fewer fully grown babies inside make a belly bigger than having many non-full grown babies. I think triplet is kind of ideal in that sense.

Wasn't there some new articles to prove that it was a hoax?

It's one way of defining it, if you're not talking about the literally belly size. I'm super into multiple pregnancy because it feels to me like the woman is "more pregnant", if that makes sense

I think you're thinking of the lady who said she gave birth to 10 babies.
