I was seeing my friend and her husband yesterday. She's 38 weeks pregnant with her second. She was complaining about how uncomfortable she is and saying how she can't wait to get this baby out of her, and I joked "Oh, I'll carry her for you!", patting my belly.

They seemed to enjoy my joke while me and my empty womb are secretly burning inside with jealousy I haven't told them about.

Anyone other women here have similar experiences with friends, or any guys here have some equivalent stories where you make something a joke to hide how you feel? Just asking in the hopes that I don't feel so alone.

Broody, I'm sure there are other women who feel the same but, are probably too embarrassed to admit it. Please don't feel too bad about it! Thanks to the internet, we've got a who community here who understands.
