When out in public, there is no "reasonable expectation" of privacy, so taking pictures or videos does not violate anyone's rights. People are filmed in public by security cameras all the time! As a law student, these sort of things bother me because, while I understand that she might not like it, there is really nothing she can do regarding criminal actions.

It's not that simple. I lost all (LOTS) of the pics of the two pregnant girls I hooked up with when my current GF found them a few years ago. Stuff I'll never get back that was very explicit and now fading away in my memories. The ultimatum was to destroy it all or be outed and air all my dirty laundry to all of my friends/anyone in and around both of our social circles. That would suck.
