I ask because my girlfriend, who I intend on marrying, is part of a very traditional religious sect. Contraception is not allowed and the more children, the better. Of course this bring up many issues but she's the best woman that I've ever met. She worships the ground I walk on, so I will accommodate her interest in childbearing.

I'm not, however both my sisters and my one brother married hardcore Catholics.  It seems over the years, there faith has wained and they have become less religious as time goes on.  Do you worry that her family is not going to take kindly to marrying an outsider and might pressure her?    Make sure she knows that she could talk to other men if she has to..  Years ago I had a court in the town next to Lakewood NJ which is one of the largest Hasidic settlements in the US.  Everytime a Hasidic woman was called before the male judge, there husbands would demand the judge speak to them directly instead of addressing the wife who was the defendant.

Not really. The ones that are pregnant are mostly in layers.
