Vids like that piss me off. Not to get political but, if women have been bitching and moaning(rightfully so) about getting equal rights and societal treatment, then don't bitch and moan when you don't get special treatment. Because and I know this is shocking... you're being treated like a grown adult who can take care of themself. Sorry guys. Just needed to rant for a bit. On a positive note, her belly looks great. Love the POV shots. Tongue

I'd give her a seat alright, right on my lap! Although the subway wouldn't be the ideal place; my bed sounds better Wink

Have you heard her? She is saying that would be kind if people give their seat to a PREGNANT woman.

That's not about women, it's about leave the seats in subways, buses to old people, disable people or pregnant.

My gf was pregnant last year and most of the time no one gave her a seat and she was misserable. When you have a baby inside you feel tired, you have sciatica problem, back problems. And most of men turn the head or makes like they are reading the newspaper or any news at the phone.....

It's about being civic, being polite. Education.

She is not asking a seat for being a women. But you can't imagine how hard is to be at the subway with a huge belly and with a train who moves faster and you have to hold your belly.

sorry for the comment but piss me off than in a place of people who "adore" pregnancy, they don't have the empathy to understand that easy thing.

I guess I kind of jumped the gun a bit and I admit I didn't watch the full video before commenting on it(gotta stop doing that). All of those points are pretty reasonable.

The funny thing is that noOne asked if she wanted to become pregnant for us in the first place.. That we admire her form has nothing to do with the balance we have nowadays between men and women... This has NOTHING to do with being educated. That a pregnancy can be hard doesn't mean that we need to show our white knight in shining armor side purely because we are men..hilarious.... When was the last time you saw a woman giving up a seat for a pregnant woman?! When your girlfriend was pregnant, were you just focusing on how the male part of the surrounding public were treating her...?!? Or was she the one complaining about it o.O Way too weird.... About turning heads or ignoring the situation is mostly a woman's thing, so let's not get started on that. And the last thing: This place, where we adore pregnancy...that's just that...adoring... My dislike from your comments stems from the fact that you question the morality of forum members ("adore" pregnancy, they don't have the empathy to understand that easy thing), while most of us (men and women) had our fair share of real life pregnancies and/or children to take care of. So we're more than able to emphatize with this situation. If the occassion works for me to let someone take my seat, I definitely will entertain that option, but I sure as hell won't feel obligated or pushed into something that will make me politically correct.

(May 24, 2016, 2:50 am)miradanz but I sure as hell won't feel obligated or pushed into something that will make me politically correct.

I am a bit perplexed by this notion that 1. a common courtecy of giving up your seat for an elderly/handicapped/pregnant woman/anyone who has difficulty standing etc is now considered to be 'politically correct' where once it was simply known to be good manners stemming from basic common moral sense. and 2. that you won't feel 'obligated or pushed' into it to simply behave like responsible gentle(wo)man

Basically you are stating that if you are confronted with criticism of rude and inconsiderate behaviour you will be an arse for the sake of being an arse. It is sad that rejection of political correctness has now devolved in just an excuse to be ill behaved.

If that's the only thing that you could take out of my entire reply then I know on what level I should stay in order to continue this discussion. Why would I be pushed into something? The best way to get something done is to ask, demanding never worked for anyone. The fact that you are using the word 'arse' also indicates enough about the level that you're trying to get your point across. I'm glad that there are enough people in this world who are trying to help and support their fellow men and despite your findings I'm also one of them. But to state here that you don't understand the difference between aiding someone who's in need and being forced to do something that everybody deems normal but won't tolerate when it's absent...wow...then I can't do nothing to save you... I think you can do better than that.

mirandanz answering you: most of the people who gave her a seat were LADIES. Even old ladies, when young men were sitted close to that old lady.

It's about being polite. I go to work everyday on subway and when I see an old person, disabled or a pregnant or someone with a baby I give them my seat. It's about courtesy.

Feminist claim equality but when we give the place to a pregnant woman doesn't mean we do it because they are ladies, we do it because they are pregnant. If I open a door in the subway or anywhere I hold it for the next one, no matter who. It's something call EDUCATION, RESPECT. CIVISM.

In the video she claim a seat for her for being pregnant, and claim that no matter ladies or men, no one gave her the seat.....I don't care if it's a lady or a man, but if you see an old man or a pregnant and you don't give her/him the seat, no matter the gender you are a very non empathy person and non respectful person. First of all because those seats have preference, at least in most of the places in the world.

The: it's a ladies' thing see to other side....don't know in USA, but here is more common in men. They are like: I'm seating here I don't care. Specially in Madrid. We travel to Barcelona (more civic and polite citizen) and most of the time no matter who, they give her a seat......

And about critize forum members... I only said that if you like pregnancy so much, you have watched so many pregnant blogs, videos and you know from listening them (if you listen them) that pregnancy is a very hard task, so we have to have more empathy. At least that's my opinion.
