Guys: how well do you have to know a woman to feel comfortable asking to feel their belly?

To me, it has to be fairly close for me to be comfortable asking and for the lady to let me feel. After all, it is best optimized for such sessions when the feeling's understandable and mutual and such gesture by the lady shows that she trusts me enough to let me feel, much like a pet that lets me pet them without the fear in me of them biting or scratching my hand. 

It’s possible to get a belly feel from a random preggo you meet. It’s all about your approach to be honest and how well you can make her feel comfortable with you. Obviously you don’t just walk up and ask “Can I touch it?”

My experience has taught me that showing interest in pregnancy works best. Ask her “How far along is she?“ “Is it her first pregnancy?” “What’s her due date?“ It works the same as walking up to a guy that has classic muscle car and starting off by saying “Nice car.“ Then asking “What year is it?” Followed by other questions. Eventually you’ll get a look under the hood. My point is you don’t have to know the preggo “well” to get a belly feel however being a close friend helps getting past the initial comfort zone barrier.
