First off: I have no problem with the ads on this site. A lot of them feature very attractive ladies.

That said, sometimes, they're nude or at least partially exposed. Since these ads appear in the same threads as photos of teenagers, I wonder if it wouldn't be a good idea to either 1) ensure the ads feature fully-clothed women, 2) use a different ad service for some forum areas, or 3) simply disable ads for some forum areas.

All three of those options would suck in one way or another for the forum administrator, and perhaps I'm just being paranoid, but this community is reasonably careful about most other things... I'd hate to see us get in trouble on some stupid technicality.

This is actually something I've been meaning to implement for a while now, specifically non-nude advertisements or no advertisements in "teen" threads and the forum. While the presence of both forms of content (nude and non-nude) on the same page doesn't pose a problem, it is best to err on the side of caution and do what members find comforting. Expect this change in early October.

We're set -- I've revised the advertising script to exclude pictures containing nudity from thread pages.
