However, I hope this reply helps.

1) Every decade, something that was previously scandalous becomes accepted. Examples ; it was previously scandalous for blacks to mix with whites. It was previously scandalous for women to work. And then they could work, but only as a typist, or teacher, or nurse mainly. In this decade, I've personally faced it being scandalous to have made and sold porns. Now with the rise of onlyfans, its becoming less scandalous.

Pregnancy fetish will be like this too. It's scandalous now, but it won't always be. We have the power to make it more acceptable by making it not weird for others and explaining it to others. Which leads me to point number 2...

2) People need to be gently explained that it has nothing to do with the baby, but actually, it just has to do with a CHEMICAL attraction to the raging hormones emitted during pregnancy. SEX is what caused pregnancy, I say, its not a virginal thing. It's natural to associate the state of pregnancy, which resulted from sex, with sexual desire.

My whole life is a bit scandalous in this time, but this is how we lead the way. Hugs
Very well said @Winnie. A woman is at her most feminine when she's expecting so it seems natural that many people find her attractive.

Very well put, and I’d definitely say your word holds some weight. You are literally at the forefront, a catalyst if you will, for finally brining about acceptance to this “fetish”. I think if women see that other women and not just men are into this, it’s really takes the sting out of the subject.

Thanks for your message in support of our community. Our moral relativity changes every generation in world history, that's the point of liberal and progressive thought and enlightenment to abandon and abolish rules impeding personal freedom and expression. It used to be scandalous to be gay or even being an atheist. 2022 America is where I live and alive in. It should be a better time for us to have a forum to talk about our love, fascination, interest, admiration and kink of pregnant people without shame and condemnation.

(March 5, 2022, 2:26 am)IntoPreggos For this "new" fetish was studied a century ago (!) by no other than psychoanalyst and sexual psychiatrist Sigmund Freud, he assumed "a man or woman saw their mother pregnant when they we're ages 1-6" triggers the fetish. He opened the door on exploration of human sexuality in the 1900s-30s period, a more prudent time in western (and global) civilization, but was false on his determination of the causes of homosexuality and gender identity: Freud laid out a debunked theory of "Lesbians are a result of poor daughter/father relationships" or another one that "Men expressed themselves as women are from an unusually strong mother/son bond". In the 1980s-2010s, "genetic" links of persons developing any sexual fetish (including the one: maiseiophilia or preggophilia we're discussing) were at first thought to not be possible, now in the current year (the double-twenties), we have a better understanding of human genes and its contribution to human behavior in individuals or blood families. Already, genes were originally thought to support anatomical races until recently, mainstream science reject the notion of biologically distinct races (and not real, but are social, political and cultural constructs) comparable to other pseudo-scientific fields once thought to be true: phrenology (the 1790-1950 ancestor of neurology) and "semi-"scientific astrology based on astronomical positions of planets on the given day of our birth or the horoscope of a given day, it's clear the planets in the night sky and the solar system does not influence human actions or world affairs. My own (best) explanation of developing a pregnancy fetish is I saw a teacher in that state, admire or adore it, find out what got her pregnant, how she reacts to herself in that condition and she shares or explains it to me as a child.

And we came a long way from the pre-WWII era 80 years ago when sexuality itself (at least in the USA) was a (very) closed topic, when Alfred Kinsey and his colleagues had took up sexual and romantic physical and mental studies from like 1938 to 1983 during the sexual revolution and their contributions to the normalization of homosexuality, gender identity, fetishes and kinks based on a clearer synopsis. In my personal case, my pregnancy fetish is from observing a number of women in my community with big bellies with babies inside to only fascinated not repulsed me...and finding out last year of a family history (from my late Mom via her Dad/my grandpa down the family tree in the hidden past) of a no longer dark, but understandingly deep secret to further support the genetic "inherited in blood" cause, not only "in my head"...from viewing or watching a pregnant relative which I never had in my first 2 decades of life (1980-1999), only my bro's ex-GF was pregnant in 2000 to had my nephew...and no other female blood relatives around me were pregnant either in my life in this century/ millennia (2001-2022). All I can say a person's genes can determine they might fathered a child in a paternity test, as well to match distant relatives, uncover who committed a crime and predict a likelihood of having medical diseases.  And sorry Dr. Freud, you could take a trip in time to the 1980s (he died in 1938, oddly the same year Alfred Kinsey began his sexual research) to analyze my Mom and again the 2020s when I had no idea she had this fetish (she died last year).  The late 20th century shouldn't be like the early quarter, but science explained stuff to me about...me, while I just found out by my older half-sis said my (her step-) mother was...untypical sensual thrilled of being pregnant.
That’s mind blowing if this can really be linked to our genetic make up. I never saw a family member pregnant as a child, but I can remember going to the doctors for a check up around 4-5 years old and while walking down the hallway I peered into a door window and witnessed what I learned to be a Lamaze class, from that moment I knew that I liked what I saw. Then by the time I reached sexual maturity It became a of a sexual attraction. I’ve always liked busty or thick girls and pregnancy is just that in its ultimate form.  Idk if it’s in my genetics but thats very interesting.
Anyone who studied genetic science said they found certain genes linked to (sexual or romantic) behavior or they are responsible of a psychological or biochemical reaction to pheromones, the kind of female hormone progesterone produced in a pregnant person (either in themselves experiencing pregnancy or through their sight of a pregnant person they may or may not know). There's more reviewed research on maiseiophilia studies than 10, 20 or even 30 years ago when the media began to cover the story like a pop culture novelty or a mysterious phenomenon. Historians said the late 1960s-early 1980s seems to have a few offbeat stories of pregnancy fetishism already the public was kinda aware of (were they tolerant of it but not as much then?) is a byproduct of that time's sexual revolution, women's liberation and challenging beauty standards. But here's what was discovered (thanks to Google): I read that some pre-Puritan/Calvinist queens or princesses in 1610s Britain and revolutionary era 1790s France by their deposed royals until the prudish victorian age were endorsing, promoting or supporting the beauty, wonder and marvel of pregnancy ending in childbirth but began by procreation.

>I truly try to look at it objectively and it’s really not that weird.
>I see it as a Relatively normal fetish unlike feet, or diapers, impersonating animals, or being pissed and shit on, stuff like that lol

The view must be great in that glass house.
