Make up something saying you were in one of her classes. Teachers sometimes forget students. Say " You may not remember me, my name is (whatever) and I was in your class during my senior year of (whatever). " ask er how her life is going. To make things seem more interesting: say you volunteer at a food bank or that you help pick up trash somewhere. People love volunteering.

Oh, sorry, I missed that part. Title of the thread ("Former teacher pregnant") makes it sound like she's your former teacher.

I dunno if you'll even be able to "friend" this person. Depends on how private she is. You're right -- you're a stranger to her. So if she's not into having strangers on her Facebook, I don't think it's going to work out for you.

I'd say let it go, sometimes it just isnt meant to be.
