Hey there guys! I want to first say thank you for helping me find a storage option for all my preggo stuff. Unfortunately I now have another question for you guys; so I got a 1tb flash drive today and after I moved a lot of files over to it ( almost 65 gb!) and about 7 mp4 and one wmv files are giving me an 0xc00d36c4 error code and won't play on windows media player, movies & tv app or anything else and could use some help getting them playing again, thanks again everyone you are the best

Sounds to me that the flash drive is fake. Where did you get it from and for how much? It's definitely a fake if you paid less than $150 for it as even trusted stores like Amazon are riddled with fake flash drives.

I don't know what you mean, it cost me $50 on amazon and came with a warranty, all my other files work just not those 8 files so did I make a mistake?

He's probably right, unfortunately.  $50 is way too cheap for a legit 1TB USB flash drive.

By "fake" it means that the drive reports it has 1TB when it actually has much less.  You said you copied almost 65GB which is very close to a standard drive size (64GB, with formatted capacity around 60GB).  My guess is that you actually have a 64GB drive, and when it filled up it started overwriting some of your data, corrupting those files in the process.  That would explain why only a few files are affected. If the drive were smaller then more files would have problems.

You can search Google for ways to find out for sure if it's a fake.  If it is, you can try for a refund, but good luck on that.  In the future, stick to known brands like SanDisk, PNY, Kingston, etc.
