This topic resonates with me. I met a girl online who lived a few states away. If she's not the best combination of face, curves, and fitness of anyone I know, she's very near the top. For five years, we had an on again, off again explicit texting thread as our circumstances permitted. We always assumed we'd end up together when the time was right, but it just was never right.

She shared her pregnancy announcement during one of our "off again" periods and only posted four pictures on social media throughout her pregnancy. Just from those four, I can say that she grew an absolutely epic pregnant belly that looked so perfect on her.

That was five years ago, and I still wish that I could have seen so much more of her pregnancy. What if she was not in a relationship when it happened? Would our sexting have continued throughout her pregnancy? Would that have been the motivation to meet her in-person? Would that have started our own relationship? Would it have put an expiration date on whatever we might have had because I wasn't wanting children back then but would have badly wanted her pregnant body?

The what-ifs are fun to think about, even if they're not productive.
