I went golfing with a couple of dads on Saturday and one of them mentioned that he hadn't had sex with his wife since she gave birth 6 years ago.  Have you heard of fathers not being able to go back in after watching their wife gives birth?  After our 2nd I was in my wife 4 days after giving birth (mistake on our part) .   I'm just curious if this is a thing

I think this is really a thing, especially if their perception of their wife changes after she gave birth. After all, can't look back at a bouquet of roses once they started to wilt. Every man, or woman for that matter, would react differently to the moment of welcoming a child in the flesh, and that's alright, because that proves that it is human to feel the way we feel about it.

You have to view this with a mindset of a person without a pregnancy/birth fetish. Most men can't stand to see their wives bloody vagina while they're howling in pain. Why do you think it's common for husbands to either faint or wait in the other room? Outside of you and maybe a couple other people on here, I've never heard of anyone willingly going back and watching their wives birth videos. As for the guy who hasn't had sex for 6 years, that sounds more like marital issues than anything else.

I agree.  Honestly I'm shocked people could still be married and not have had sex for that long.  By back in I dont mean watch our birth videos, I meant sex.

My husband and I waited the recommended 6 weeks and the second we got the okay from the doc we were back at it. I agree, it sounds like it’s more marital problems that would keep someone from having sex for 6 years
