Odd question sorry just thought I would ask

Nothing beats a huge pregnant belly in a skin tight white see through dress on a summer day

Dark colors tend to hide things well behind them...

For me, it has to be light clothing. Not only that, in many circumstances, the 'plainer' the clothes (i.e - not heavily patterned), the better.

When it comes to dark clothes, I tend to find when it comes to pregnancy, they can make the bump seem smaller than what it really is. Whereas lighter clothing tends to either have the opposite effect, or merely shows off the bump for what it is. 

I find clothes which have too much going on with them in terms of detail, such as lots of stripes, swirls or any other patterns, can be a little distracting. Not necessarily making the bump appear 'smaller', but has the same effect as a new prototype car in camoflage - which deliberately takes the eye away from the lines, curves e.t.c... Sorry if that sounds odd, but it's about the closest analogy I can come up with!

I voted light, because sometimes dark clothes can make the belly look smaller.

Light clothes are better in general but there's just something about a belly sticking out the bottom of a skin tight black t-shirt. Or a white t-shirt on a black preggo. I like the contrast
