My gf and I definitely want a baby, but timing is the issue. I want to start trying at the end of next year, when hopefully I'll be finishing the hard part of my job, but she wants to try to get pregnant at the end of this year. As much as I want to get her pregnant, I want to be there for her as much as I can. So what do you guys think?

Will you be in better financial shape if you wait till next year? If so, then I would suggest waiting till next year since, having a child is a big financial obligation.

Money isn't the issue tbh, I get a good salary. But my job takes me out of country for months at a time
