It's been a few years since I was in a situation like this but I'm back in the saddle. I met her through POF and she lives about 90 minutes away. She is currently 19 weeks and looks great. Being a surrogate is helping her with student loan debt and a ton of other stuff because she is a single parent to her daughter.
What's interesting is that she feels like she's not actually pregnant in the emotional sense. She is totally detached from it. However, indulges me because she thinks it's cute and endearing that I am supportive of her physical needs and that I'm fascinated and curious about her pregnancy. She knows I want children and she wants more two (and has talked about at least one more surrogacy) so I'm using that angle. I've visited her about once a month but soon she won't be able to do much because she'll be "waddling everywhere with this ridiculous belly."
It's the best of ALL the worlds. Not my children, not her children, twins, she knows I love that she's pregnant, she's into me and all that, and she's 90 minutes away. I'm going to keep everyone updated and yes I do have some modest pictures of her by request. In the meantime, feel free to ask me any questions!
