last week a good friend came to visit, not very special now but suddenly she told me that she had caught me taking pictures of her pregnant belly .. now it doesn't seem so bad but there were 5 people who also heard this  and I was ashamed!! 
I didn't know what she was talking about at first but then I realized it, she was 8 months pregnant then and was sitting on the couch with us, her shirt was just a bit too short and stretched so I could see through the shirt and done belly  came out below.  so I thought I'd sneak a picture and thought she wouldn't notice...so she did! 

Has anyone been caught ?

Was sorta caught for the first time today. A random old lady walked up to me and asked why I was taking pictures of people. Hadn't cracked onto the pregnancy element. I made up an excuse that I didn't know my camera was one (she'd only just noticed). She made a vague grumble and I made a swift exit.

Fortunate for you! That could have gone much differently. I'm sorry you were outed for it, as most of us don't like to be shamed or kink-shamed... but also, you maybe should have known better than to snap photos of your friend without her permission.

Haven’t really been caught but I’ve gotten looks while having my phone out while looking for a belly, I feel like people assume you’re up to no good when you got a phone or camera in hand, I recently got a “ people are fucking weird” mumble from some older lady looking at my phone case

I’m too smart to get caught. I never use my phone to take candid footage unless I have sufficient cover and I can zoom in on the target without being in her immediately field of vision. For close encounters I use James Bond tech.

If I had a pregnant friend I would ask her if I could take a pic or too. There is more trust between friends than there is between strangers. No reason to be sneaky in that situation.

I'm not into taking candids, but I never understood why more people don't invest in a body cam. They're not exclusive to law enforcment and is a lot less conspicuious than having a phone out. Just clip it on your front shirt pocket and wear a jacket over it or something. At least you won't have to bumble around and pretend to be on a call when the chick looks in your direction.

Just apologize & lie your ass off. You could say: "I was taking pics to make a college for you for ehen the baby comes so you have good memories." If you say that she will understand & not be upset. It is also helpful to ask her if she is upset or not. Btw what did you do with the pics you took?

Maybe I just find it kind of gross taking picture of unsuspecting non consenting people...
