Never head of that one. I've heard that if a pregnant woman is carrying low it's a boy. Carrying high it's a girl. Then you also have the saying Born under Venus look for a Penis.

in my personal experience: when you carry a girl you get rounder everywhere (belly get more round hip get wider belly got wieder) and with boys belly is more torpedo stile. But bellies change shapes a lot during pregnancy.

The old wives' tale is that women are all belly with boys and that they gain weight everywhere with girls. It's exactly that - an old wives' tale.
