Being in a wedding. You're going to be standing for less than an hour. Then you'll be sitting in a chair for the rest of the time. As a new mom you'll be up for several days taking care of an infant while suffering from the dreaded Postpartum period and sleepness nights.

There's some factors that need to come into play. Are you heavily pregnant or just a couple months? Are you a new mom to twins or just a singleton?

Under these circumstances are you better off in the wedding party or guest (but spouse to party member)

1) 8 months pregnant
2) Breastfeeding a 10-month old

I guess number two, although I've known pregnant women who were able to do almost any activity up until a day or two before delivery.

Yes. I was best man at a wedding where the brides sister was the maid of honor and pregnant.

Yes, but not huge, plus she wasn’t all that attractive, but it was at least a small diversion
