I bought the book.

It was great ... it was not so great.

I have only had one rushed read-through so far, and I feel that it deserves another when I have time. That alone is a good sign.

I enjoyed many of the elements of the story, and I am glad that I bought it. I am sure that anyone reading this can think of a story where they loved some parts of it but the others brought the overall result down, and this I think is one of them.

The idea is great - so great, in fact that Notabot could be justified in writing other stories set in parallel to this one. I hope that he does.

The characters were good, and in their own way individual in a way that too many stories fail to achieve. I feel that Notabot almost never lost sight of how unique each person was and how their aims were different to everyone else. I feel that at the end this is lost during the wrap-up, and I am hoping on the second read I will see it better.

I was disappointed with the protagonist, slowly losing sympathy for him over time. I can see how the author is trying to show his desperation when surrounded by what he desires most, and I get that he is young and inexperienced, but there were times when I mentally slapped my face and thought, "You idiot". Sure, we often screw it up the first time, and even a few times after, but it was if he did not learn, or not learn enough. Yes it had to be drawn out, and failures were part of the formula, but his tactics needed to improve more, and this is one of the few let-downs that I had from this story. Every potential encounter held promise, and SHOULD have been amazing, but he was his own worst enemy ... most of the time.

To sum up, YES, I liked the story. YES, I am glad that I bought it. YES, I would love to see a sequel (parallelquel?). The protagonist could have learned from his mistakes, and there was a bit of uni-mind early and late, and there could ALWAYS be more description, BUT it was an enjoyable read and I recommend it to others who enjoy a good pregnancy fetish story.


And Notabot - you gave yourself plenty of parallel story opportunities in rumours and news reports. I believe that you should expand on them, pun intended. Also, Birthweek could be an interesting sequel. Please consider.

I don't know about Amazon but on Smashwords you can download stories as PDFs or other files.

really can you recommend any as good as this story

On Smashwords specifically? I haven't read many but Cosmic Conception is good. I also like all of Groblek's stories but he's mainly unbirth stuff so that may not be what you're looking for.

And if you haven't already, there's my other eBook too.

Cosmic Conception? Don't think I've heard of that one. Could you let us know where to get that?
