I am loathe to link elsewhere (especially considering a real name is included)
But this a is a *very* interesting situation (and it was posted on a popular media site)

Simply put, a 14 year old gave birth to triplets. I don't know that I've ever heard of such a young mother having so many babies. As far as multiples go, the youngest triplets I can think of is Claudia Wertner, who was 19.
26 weeks is obviously terribly early, but still
The mind boggles.

The mind boggles. That is pretty good going. I've heard of plenty having twins at that age or less, but never triplets. Good luck to her.

(April 29, 2023, 3:36 pm)gmtobehere1 Wonder if she had a vagina birth Come think of it: 14 yo (physically immature), triplets, gave birth at 26 weeks (32 is considered the minimum for viability otside the womb).
Vaginal birth is a no-no.

The mind boggles. Personally, I liked this story. What that nurse did for her and her kids was very kind of her if you ask me.

I also wish all teen mothers had such fertility
But it's nice. I like nice.
Nice is good, and I hope other people enjoy this story (for its niceness and its other qualities), too.

Vaginal birth is a no-no. As a generally figure, 32 weeks for viability, but medically, 24 weeks is considered the minimum viability, as that is when the lungs generally become fully formed. By 32 weeks, there is ~95% survival rate (per Heathline/University of Utah, at least). That said, she was cutting it close.

Nice is good, and I hope other people enjoy this story (for its niceness and its other qualities), too. There's a girl I met on IG who had triplets at 18 (got pregnant at 17). She was carrying her best friend's brothers. She had a home birth on her 18th bday at home. She also carried a baby for her aunt when she was 16 & gave birth a few months after she turned 17. She also went to prom while she was heavily pregnant with triplets.

The mind boggles. I once saw a news site picture of 13 year old girl sitting on a bed beside her recently born triplets. There is out there a video that I have seen of a German girl pregnant with triplets. There's probably more if one looks had enough.
